Good News! We have managed to negotiate with the new Head Teacher at St Mary's School and will be able to use this for camping this year. Indoor camping will be restricted to the school hall but we can still use the staff room for drinks and the toilets. Provision outside for tents and some hard standing for smaller vans. Priority will be given to those with lesser mobility or families with young children.

The Banbury Folk Association has recently been awarded a £4,000 grant from Oxfordshire Community Foundation, Grassroots Grants Fund ' to be split evenly between the leaflets/translation and the website'.

This is obviously great news and is already reflected in the 'new look' for this year's festival promotions and the improved website.

Links are already being made with the Polish and Asian communities in the town in order to facilitate a closer liaison that will also lead to foreign language translations on the website.
